They found people living in areas with the highest number of fast food outlets have a 13 per cent higher risk of stroke than those living in areas with the least number of fast food outlets. But does living near fast food outlets make you eat there more regularly, or is it simply a sign of an unhealthy community? That’s yet to be determined.
